Hi guys,

I originally was using my old psp-1000 of firmware 1.50 to play my FF7CC.
After it got spoilt, i recently bgt a PSP-3000, currently running on 5.03 Gen-B.

I did transfer the save files over since my memory stick was alright. But, when i tried to load, it says that all the files are corrupted.

After surfing thru the net, i heard people saying that its becoz it was saved from different firmware. I understand that, but is there anyway i can fix this? all my hard work of hours are gone just likdat..... And if i replay now.... i think there's going to be chance to lose the datas again after i upgrade my firmware in future? no? ........

I can't find any solution to this... anyone can advise me?

ChickHen works 9/10 times, i found a way to let it work that good :).
How? Well im not gonna tell you at all, but the only hint im gonna tell you is "timing" and the amount of photos, too much is bad, but too less is also bad. Well im not gonna screw your fun, so try your best, and dont flame if you already know how to do, let people find it out by thereself (its more fun, than that someone is saying the trick)

Anyway.. im BACK

Here's an idea.. Why won't they make a replica of a PSP 3k's flash ( or the whole thing ) and try to build it into kind of like a simulator in windows/linux... and then try to tweak with it .. so that in case they get a brick, they can just start over since it's just a simulation and not risking anything... that way a lot of people can do their own experimentation as well if ever this can be done :) haha just a thought. something to ponder about.. cheers

My battery ran out and i went out of GEN B, so later today i was reading up here and i saw a thread that said somethign about psp ram clogging and said that i had to use CFWe 3.50 to fix it.

So my question is, has everything that i have flashed on my psp with GEN been removed now? Is my RAM a gonner? If the battery runs out, does the ram reset it self?

I just got a 2nd hand PSP 1001 from my cousin and he told me that this can be hack and be played without UMD. Can anyone help me teach the step by step on how to do it. The PSP is 1001, and has 4gig memory stick, System Software is Version 5.51 if that will help. Thank in advance.

edit*

additional question xD, what version would be recommended so i can play most of the games without using UMD? is there certain version for certain games or just version that can basically play all kind of games? I dont have pandora battery btw. Sorry if im confusing. Thanks again.

I have no idea of what the original OFW was because it was pre owned and the EBgames I got it from only recently got it.

I would like to know if there is anyway of knowing if it should be hackable before my Pandora battery arives (in about 2 weeks), because I have about 7 days to return it if it is not.

Ok guys i found out something really cool. I Know how 5.03 and 5.50gend/d2 plays cso/iso games.. =) i found out Gen dirty little secret.

NOTE ONLY WOrks with 3k and 2k with CFWE because thats what i have a 3k

OK lets get started

things you need gen-b and cfwe

1st. update to gen-b
2nd. goto cfwe 3.60
3rd. goto settings
4th. goto change version
5th. say yes to write in flash
6th. Look to the letf corner the version says 9.90

Thats how Gen-b and gen-d/d2 runs Games =P

This which brings us to the fact why GEN is better then m33(Dax=Fail) Because we will never need to a decrypter for a game untill sony comes out with 10.00 ofw which i doubt will happen... But enjoi This Go Team GEN!!!
