ace combat: skies of deception is working on mine but NFS most wanted is not working...showing error 8020001
and i did not turn off my psp so that the CFW will not go. also backed up dissidia final fantasy from the UMD which is also not working and showing error 8020148. do i need pops loader or anything else to play these games??
maaaaaaaan!!!! when will these psp 300X will have a forever firmware..

no popsloader is for ps1 games if you wish to play them. those error code are not on my list, so im guessing there corrupt games. did u download them? DONT! buy the umd and rip them, then never use the disc again, and in 10 years sell them as mint! hehe thats my plan.

as for FF im not sure if it works, or if u need to patch it etc I'll get back to you....

Hi, so do I have to leave my psp on all the time? I did the hack on my little brothers psp but he keeps turning it off and i have to redo everything.. due to the fact that i have to format the memory card otherwise the chickhen thingy doesnt load and the psp freezes? any help? thanks...

you dont have to leave your psp "on" all the time. you can put it in stand-by by pressing the power button up for a second or so. repeat the process to make it active again.

if you do turn it off you will have to reload chickHEN everytime. you shouldnt have to format your mem stick though. it should load easier after the first time you load it. it will always freeze, thats just the way it works.

i would suggest you dont format your mem stick after loading chickHEN anymore. it puts a file in your mem stick that helps it load faster and you are deleting it everytime you format.

But I cant seem to get past the chickhen pics it just freezes up and turns off everytime. Do I just keep trying til the green thing happens? I did it atleast 5-10 times. Is it better to just delete all other pics?

no, it helps having all the other pics. if you have a psp-2000 or psp-3000 you could try the chickHEM mod2 (it doesnt work for psp-1000s). it has helped a lot of people.

dont forget to turn of the cache
Under Settings>System Settings, press Restore Default Settings, yes, yes..
Under Settings>System Settings, Turn Off the UMD Auto Start and the UMD Cache.

this is what stoped me from getting to the green screen and it finishing installing

This is driving me mad!!! Got version 5.03 on my psp 3000, the sticker on it says its a 3003. When trying to chicken R2 it, it freezzes and shuts off and doesnt come back on, tryed about 30 times now! There is no way I can hit X 5 times quick enough either, it always goes and shows me a pic of egg, is this the problem?
