Hello. I'm new to the hacking thing. I had a friend hack my last psp(it was a phat) with a pandora battery and everything. It allowed me to play iso games and the GBA emulator. Well, my last psp broke and I've recently found a new one and have successfully hacked it using this guide. Thank you so much for this. I really appreciate it.

Well, I have a few questions. If you could answer them or direct me to where I can find my answers it would be awesome. There is so much information on here and a lot of jargon I don't really understand and it's a bit overwhelming.

I could play iso games on my last one. Does this let me do the same? Or do I need to do something else to be able to play iso games?

Are there any limitations on which iso games i can play? Is this version not compatible with certain games?

Can I use the GBA emulator on this?

I heard you can play psx games on the psp. Does that work for this?

Yes, with this you can play ISO games.
However, some (most) of those games that require 5.50 or higher firmware will not work without modifying the games themselves. Yes, you can use the GBA emulator on this (I personally use UO gpSP Kai), and you can also play PSX games on the PSP. You might want to take a look into POPS and Popstation. With that said, that should steer you in the right direction as to what you should be looking for.

yes, you have the ability to play legal umd backups in iso or cso format. a tutorial on hack to backup umds can be found here:

you will probably not be able to play the latest psp games that require official firmware 5.55 or 6.00, but other than that you should be fine. you can always upgrade your custom firmware to 5.50 gen-a/b/b2 to play those games if you desire.

yes. we have discussed this issue before, and it has been suggested that uo gpsp kai 3.4 build 1 test 2 is the best version of this emulator. you can get it here:

yes, you can play ps1 games that have been converted to eboots with this custom firmware. you should be able to play most games just fine, but you may also need to download and install a plugin called pops, which will allow you to play ps1 games that are difficult to emulate.

Good lord ultima, you have much better answers than I do. XD However, now that the Game Decrypter is released, your odds of being able to play 5.50+ games on your 5.03 or 5.00 CFW are much greater. yea, but that only works for gen cfws, and since this is an m33 installer, i didnt wany to confuse anyone.

Does that do everything this one does? Is it better? It sounds like my best option is to install that one instead. But you guys are the experts. What do you recommend?
