Since some posts seem to have... disappeared since the server upgrade, I'm gonna repost this:
Hey everyone, me again! I know that I said in the Pandora-Free M33 Installer that if you had an unhackable PSP 2000 or a PSP 3000, you were screwed. Well, I lied. Introducing, the All-In-One 5.03 GEN-A Installer! Included is all the tools you need to get your PSP to boot to 5.03 GEN-A custom firmware. Keep in mind that if you shut off your PSP or lose battery power, the firmware is gone and you have to re-load it (but NOT re-flash it). However, to work around this, just put your PSP in standby. It won't hurt your battery, no worries.

The tools included are:
Official Firmware Update to 5.03
ChickHEN R2
5.03 GEN-A Installer/Loader

Instructions and credits are included in the installer.

there is a chance they could brick their psps if they have flashed partial cfws too many times without removing any, so could you please add this to you post?

the only problem with this is im not exactly sure how they should go about uninstalling. i have heard here on the forums that the only way to uninstall is to use cfwenabler 3.30. apparently it was the last one made with an uninstaller. all they have to do is download it and then run the uninstall option, then they can remove it and continue with whatever they want to install. again, i havent verified this myself, but its all i could come up with.

I dont think you should be putting up Gen-A, not that I dont like it, its just that I heard that some people even bricked thier PSP's with GEN-A. but with CFWEnabler, i haven't heard of any bricks. Nice job though.

You can brick your PSP with GEN-A and CFWE. However, that's only if you mess with some plugins or touch the flash0 of your PSP. Under normal use, 5.03 GEN-A can not and will not brick your PSP.

Anyways, do you still have the link to ChickHEN R2 Mod 2? I cant find it with serach.

I don't use a ChickHEN mod. As far as I know, it causes 5.03 GEN-A to malfunction if you use it. I could be wrong, though.

i heard vmurph or dokioto saying that ChickHENR2 Mod 2 are safe. o well. I just helped some one out, the user used the regular ChickHEN R2 and got it working first try on thier Slim. I think that was amazing.

Yeah, I can usually get ChickHEN to load on my 3000 within 3 tries, but sometimes it decides to hate me and take up to 20 tries. =P

I recommend you to have CFWenabler 3.60 instead of 5.03 Gen-a
Many have issues with 5.03 gen-a. Id recommend you to put CFWenabler 3.60 instead of 5.03 Gen-A

Nice of you to make another installer. I'll say thanks as it seems everyone els can just complain it isn't CFWenabler 3.60. So, Thanks ;]
Just sold my 2000 so I can't test it.

Maybe this will get someone to try Remote Joy with Gen so I know if it works with it or not!

Personally, I like GEN-A for another reason: Everyone says "Oh you can play ISOs on your PSP? What version of M33 do you have?". I can say "It's not M33 - it's GEN-A" and completely screw them up. xD GEN-A isn't very popular (yet), especially compared to Dark_Alex's work. Therefore, I'm gonna stick to it because it's off the beaten path, so to speak.
