i would go with CFWEnabler, but if you use Gen-A and like it and has no probs, then just stay there. if you do have probs and dont like it, then switch.

Well, ppl are saying that GEN-A is buggy... Can anyone point out one..

Don't support something becoz ppl are saying its better.. and also, just becoz its DARK ALEX stuff doesnt mean its bug free... And even if it is, i am still to find a bug on GEN....

Fisrtly, CFWenabler wasnt made by Dark alex. It was made by Xenogears and Becus25. However they did use the M33 sorce code. Secondly Xenogears and Becus25 always update CFWenabler. They have so many updates with so many fixes. For some reason Gen has not yet realesed a newer update for 5.03 gen-A.

It seems like some one has bricked thier psp using the wrong 5.03 gen-A.

Sure they bricked it, but that's because they didn't read directions. If you read the directions instead of trying to figure it out yourself, you won't brick your PSP.

Lol.. i never said that Enabler is made by Dark Alex.... And hacking is nowadays done by ppl who dunno even the simplest thing as how much RAM the psp holds.. So if by being careless u wreck something thats not the fault of GEN...

In old days, hacking a PSP was thought of as much more serious thing.. Ppl would think twice, know the system properly.. etc. now its all like installing a software in windows, (double click on the exe and keep on clicking the next button untile the finish tab appears.. all done...) they dont even look into what they r modifying...

And releasing updates every now and then makes the CFWEnabler better u say??? Lol... i wudnt say that always, when i use a PC. Coz, in that case, with every update the software runs slower and stupider...

Look at VLC player for example.. Compare the first one and the one available now...


Enuff said... I still standby skyline... hacking is for ppl who know atleast a bit of what they r upto or be a bit careful abt following instructions.. or else, they are bound to suffer the consequences..

hi can anyone help im having problems with chikenhen on the pics my psp goes black and then off and i have swith psp back on i think i might have missed some thing after copy the egg pics where do i get the h.bin to ms root folder ?
please help

the h.bin file should have come with the chickHEN download. also, you dont put it in the ms root directory, just the root directory. the root directory is the directory that contains the ms root directory. fix these problems and it should work fine.

if that doesnt work, remove all the files associated with chickHEN (h.bin and tiffs) and try this. it seems to be helping a lot of people.
