Might have messed up my psp 1000

I downloaded the update for 5.03 and installed it on my phat and updated it. Now it does not show a iso folder and none of the games show up from the menu. What did I do and how can I fix it?

messed up? its just since you have OFW it got deleted. You must go back to CFW, if you would like to follow this.

Loading ChickHEN R2 on a PSP 1000(PHAT): Code: 1002
You can use the regular ChickHEN R2, since there are no mods for this i believe.

The images are in the PHOTOS folder(ms0:/PSP/GAME/PHOTOS. Note: You may have to make the folder.)
h.bin goes into the root of the MS(like how the ISO folder was)

Part 2: Code: 1004

Now that you have 5.03 OFW in your PSP, its time for ChickHEN R2!

Step 1: Extract the ChickHEN R2 folder, put the h.bin file in the root of your MS(basicly ms0, the first thing when you go to your MS.)

Step 2: Put the extracted PHAT pics into your ms0:/PSP/PHOTOS folder.

Step 3: once you have the photos in, go to your XMB(PSP Dashboard) and go to pictures, memorystick and then go to the chickhen folder. once in, wait for the pics to load and wait.

Step 4: The screen should glitch and become brown, and your PSP should reboot. You are now in ChickHEN R2 mode. To check, go to settings, system settings and system information. it should say 5.03 ChickHEN R2. if not, triy again.

Tip: Press X more than once, say 5 times fast when going to the ChickHEN folder.


Try taking the gif pictures from the Slim folder of ChickHEN R2 and put that with your PHAT ChickHEN R2 Photo.
Have you tried doing the above things?(The list that is for both versions)
Are you using the right Tiff?(For PSP 1000, you need the tiff image from the PHAT folder.
When you go into the ChickHEN R2 folder/PHAT folder, try to click 5 times instead of once.
Take a break and come back when you are frustrated, then re-try. Sometimes you need a break too : )
Maybe you can try scrolling to the tiff image, right away, this has not been tested. This may work though, have never tried before though.
Maybe you might have to not scroll to the tiff, once again, i have never tried this before. This may work.
Try turning off UMD Auto-Start.

Installing CFW:

You are ready for Part 3, the good part.

Part 3: The M33 Flashing! Code: 1005

Step 1: Once you are in ChickHEN R2 Mode, you can run Hellcat's Recovery Flash 1.60.
-Extract Hellcat's Recovery Flasher 1.60 and put it into ms0:/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY

-Extract the 5.00 OFW and rename it to 500.pbp. then it goes to ms0:/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY

Step 2: Back into the XMB, scroll to game, memorystick and then Hellcat's Recovery Flasher 1.60.

Step 3: Once in Hellcat's Recovery Flasher 1.60, agree to continue. Now select install M33 CFW of the above Firmware. The flashing should start.
-DO NOT STOP ONCE YOU START!

Step 4: Once the flash is done, it may ask you to reboot by pressing any button. do that. You now have 5.00 M33-6 CFW!

After Flash: Some Recommended Settings. Code: 1006

Hold R while you turn your PSP on.

here are the recommended settings that should be under configuration.

UMD Mode set as M33 Driver
Use Vshmenu set as enables
XMB Usb Device: i would always have it set on Memory Stick to be safe
Use M33 network update set as enabled
use version.txt - may want to enable, optional
Speed Up MS access set as ALWAYS

and:

there is an advanced tab/option/samething, select it
after that there is an advanced configuration tab, select it
and from there enable XMB plugins, GAME plugins and POPS plugins.
