I accidently updated my psp to 5.51 is there anyway to downgrade it with no pandora battery?

No there is no way without a Pandora!
Did you have CFW before you upgraded to OFW 5.51? If so was it full CFW or HEN CFW?
Do you know what motherboard your PSP has? If it was a pre TA88v3 mobo then when you do get a Pandora youre fine. If it was a post TA88v2 then youre out of luck at present.

Seany, use PSPident 0.4 to find out what Motherboard your PSP has.

You won't be able to use PSPident04, it needs chickHEN R2 to run. And chickHEN will not run on 5.51.

As Gusha said, if you have a full CFW before it happened like 5.00 M33 or GEN A full? It means you have a completely hackable (CHA) PSP. Then, you have a chance of downgrading it with the use of a PANDORA and MMS of course, there is no other way to do it.

On the other hand, if your PSP was under OFW 5.03 and using chickHEN R2 and a Custom Firmware Enabler (CFWEnabler 3.60) then you have a Partially Hackable (PHA) PSP. and there is no chance of downgrading it, even with Pandora and MMS. It just won't work!

Pandora and MMS, thats all you can attempt. It may or may not work, do you mind letting us know ur PSP info? (Color, Serial(Behind the battery), Date Code, if it was in a bundle, when it was purchased etc.)
