Totally Lost PSP 1001 6.10

So much reading and I am reading old post the new post and I am getting more confused. I have tried for over a week to just come here and read to see how I can get my psp 1001 with with 6.10 to work. I bought a ms for it and a pandora battery. I want to install chickhen on it but don't know if I downgrade or what to do..

I am lost would appreciate it if someone would hold my hand and walk me through this

download and run this:
Rains UltraLite MMS Maker for 5.00 M33-4, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks

that will convert your mem stick into a magic mem stick. then you do this:

1. remove the normal battery
2. insert the magic mem stick
3. hold the L shoulder button
4. insert the pandora battery
5. follow the onscreen instructions to install 5.00 m33-4

that will install 5.00 m33-4. you can update to whatever you want from there.

Ok, I ran that program on my ms.. My psp rebooted and the word and icons are very faded on the display..

and do I always leave this battery in or just when updating to the ms?

follow the onscreen instructions to install 5.00 m33-4. the pandora battery should only be put in while installing cfw.

ok, I have it installed. then it asked to reboot, it now is at my menu display but the icons are faded. No software on it now right? this is where I put it on?

if it asked to reboot that you should have 5.00 m33-4 installed.

How can I get a clear picture of the icons without going to the test m33 menu only icons u can really see are the playstation8 network and a blue shopping bag?

Thats not working. After it took the 5.00 m33-4 it went from very clear to now the screen is very white and you can barely see the icons. U can see the 2 in mentioned above very clear.All other icons and writing are blurry. When I take the battery out and hold the left button and turn back on the screen it perfect on that menu and all the other menu m33 update,5.00 ofc, test m33 all are great. After I turn it back on its all blurry..

Hmm might be a software problem
Reflash again
