END OF THREAD.
SO YOU SEE IT WAS MEANINGLESS TO POST. and it does annoy some people so watch/read and learn, and ask questions but dnt post stupid statements that dnt give us any help. and as for the quote about becoming a hacker, your really dnt understand what a hacker is, the aim is to LEARN and use what u learnt (productively), it has very little about finding a new exploit/hack or writing a cfw. I do not class myself as a hacker, but i have hacked a few console and several psps, also I can code for the psp (badly atm) and can edit the xmb (in forms of ctf/flash0 themes). that its self doesnt make me a hacker, a true hacker in my eyes should know about 40 programming languages, hacked every console by the time of being 8yrs old..... lolz maybe thats abit extreme but u get the point. and just to note so u dnt say its impossible, my older brother did all that and now works for robotics research at Imperial college, and he wouldn't call himself a hacker, he might say white-hat hacker, but i bet u dnt know about black and white do u?

now @3001 heres a quick run down on how chickhen happened. I have over simplified it, maybe too much but just to get the point accross.... tis is generic btw
1)someone was messing with files on thier psp and the psp crashes - discovery of possible exploit.
2)discovery that the exploit allows you to run un-signed scripts (not made by sony i mean)
3)hello world exploit is made - this simply says hello to the psp user from a code they wrote themselves. (chickhens egg so to speak)
4)people make new scripts to find out how far the exploit can take them, is it unrestricted (can load an app), or does it only go as far running hello world. at this point the exploit might be scrapped if its too restricted...
5)someone spends weeks making a script that can run from the exploit to enable the use of un-signed code. example chickhen!!!!
tad darr thats how its done! chickhen was a very good idea, because they found it was a restricted exploit but the ram wasn't restricted, and so chickhen was born!
o yeah and the psps coding language is C/C++ not lua! lua is a code base written on top of c++
if its not written in C/C++ then it is written in HEX
