Acekard 2i for DSi
I ordered an acekard 2i, and after using it, i got an error message and it wouldn't work, i downloaded the files needed placed in the root of the memory card, but i still get error messages, can anyone explain in detail what to download and what to do from the start? I can't find any online tutorials anywhere.
And I'm currently using the newest DSi (hot pink one)

From what Ive heard Nintendo recently realesed a new firmware update for the DSi that adds Facebook connectivity but at the same time blocks out a whole slew oh flashcarts. I don;t know if this update has been worked around yet but I'm sure it will be.
Good things come to those who wait.

Go under system settings and it will be in the bottom right hand corner of the top screen. If it says 1.4x then you need to update the acekard.

I meant the the x to be like a variable in math, I don't know what it is and it doesn't matter.

Type in "acekard 1.4 firmware" in google and it will bring up software for the acekard to make it compatible with 1.4.

Official DSi firmware 1.4 blocked flashcart use, so you'll need the 1.4 patch to make it work again. Not sure how to apply the patch, but GBAtemp forums is the best place for DS flashcart info and downloads. You'll find the patch and lots of instructions there.
Also, as far as the AK2i firmware, I would suggest CFW "AKAIO 1.5" instead of the OFW. I haven't received mine yet (DX is extremely slow this month) but I heard that AKAIO is awesome. They say it's even superior to the OFW vers.
