sys info shows 3.90 m33-3, how do i start upgrading? thanks!

Well hook up your PSP and download
5.00 OFW and rename it 500.PBP put on the root of MS
Then put EBOOT file from M33 in psp/game/update and run that, should update if not just update to 5.00 first then try the installer

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I thought you couldn't go from 3.90M33-3 to 5.00M33-6. I thought you had to go from 3.90M33-3 to 4.01M33, then you can go to 5.00M33-6.

Unless you have pandora/mms you can go direct but you still need to flash a 5.00 OFW.

you don't need to flash 5.00 OFW, but you still have to go to 4.01 M33 for safe and correct install.

Download hellcats recovery flasher v1.60 :-
Hellcat's Recovery Flasher v1.60: Detection of HEN mode, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks
Rename your 5.00 ofw eboot to 500.pbp and put it in the root of your ms.
Run hellcats and install 5.00 m33-6.

i'm just doing everything wrong.. i'm now at 5.03 OFW before reading your reply.. not sure what to do next.. tried chikhen which doesnt work.. and im stagnant. help

i deleted everything.. im just back to the 5.03 OFW.. how do i go to gen b2 or gen d? :s thanks :s
