Yes, that's normal. Sometimes it takes several tries. The Mod 2 version that PSPEBOOTHOOT mentioned should load easier for you.

o wait are you viewing the picture? your not supposed to, your supposed to go into the ChickHEN Folder and wait. scroll all the way down once they all have loaded. scrolling back up when you have scrolled all the way down may help. you might wanna wait on the tiff image though.

also, turn UMD Cache off, and turn of any themes to be safe.

no. to run iso/cso games you have to have some kind of custom firmware installed. chickhen is only a homebrew enabler.

please try to avoid piracy.

i did the same thing but nothing happens, it always hang up and shutdown. im so crazy now of doing it.

heres what you SHOULD be doing...

1) turn the psp fully off and back on again (presuming u already HAVE 5.03OFW installed)
2) go to system setting and choose restore defaults.
3) when the psp boots - turn off umd cache
4) go to photos then the chickhen folder. DO NOT PRESS X on any picture, do not scroll up and down, simply scroll down ONCE.
5) wait
6) you psp will now do 1 of 2 things....
1)it will click and turn off. in such case you should go back to step 3
2) it will display a black screen with some wierd green pixels on the screen, then it should reboot. in this case check the system info to see it chickhen has loaded correctly. then you could use a cfw installer if u so wish.

now that process stands for ALL versions of chickhen, but I'm going to give u a few different versions below, you MUST TRY AT LEAST 10 TIMES with each version before changing, and start with R2 then R2 mod 1 then R2 mod 2, in order basically...

Try this ChickHEN R2 easy installer instead. This one loads perfectly for my 3000 when all the others failed.

Before you use it, make sure you first delete all the old chickHEN files from your memory stick. That's the chickHEN folder (in photos) and the h.bin file in the root.

Then just connect your PSP to your computer's USB, run the ChickHEN installer on your computer and click "install" and...poof, t's done.
