PSP 2000 TA-085 v2 - can i hack it? - PSP Slim Hacks

I finally got ChickHEN to work, i used PSPident to get the motherboard version, is it safe to run CFWEnabler on it or will it brick my psp?

PSPIdent said that is was a TA-085 v2? that means that your psp is fully hackable.
you can use CFWe3.6 with absolutely no risk of bricking. but since your psp is cha and not pha then you can use hellcats to install 5.00m33-6.

that will install 5.00m33-6 which is what you really want. as long as you have a TA-085v2 then it wont brick (if you follow the instructions correctly). yes its a slightly higher chance than using CFWe but its much better...

If you want to be safe just use HellCat's Recovery Flasher v1.60.

no chickhen allows you to run hellcats which has the same result as using a pandora and MMS. the link said NO PANDORA

anyways, i pandora will work on ur psp, but unless your silly and upgrade to 6.0 ofw or whatever above 5.03 then you dnt need a pandora.

also your talking about being safe, 1 thing to remember... IF (1 in 10,000 chance - guessing) hellcats bricks a hackable psp then a pandora and MMS will unbrick it XD
