the latest firmware out right now is 5.50 gen-b2. since you have 5.50 gen-a, you can update to 5.50 gen-b, and then from there to 5.50 gen-b2. all the downloads can be found on the main site.

This what ultimakillz told me if you like playing old games like emulators then get 5.00 M33 - 6 is best for that.
