Default Hacking PSP 2000 with a 3000 motherboard

Q: Is it possible to hack a psp 2000 which version is the Slim v2.2 and has a TA-088 v3? Because it's said it's not fully or partially hackable, and i hacked mines with a official firmware 5.03, converted it to CFW with Chicken R2 & CFW Enabler 3.60> It is now CFW 5.03 MHU. Is that possible? Reason for my question is because I would like to run CTF themes on it, I'm tired of the old PTF themes, I previously had owned a fully hackable PSP 2000 untill a bandit stole it from me. And now, I am in the end days of PSP 2000 and 3000 full hacking for most users. So, please, can anyone help me with applying CXMB on my CWF 5.03?

Free file host with a difference!

i had suggested this to another member, but i didnt hear anything back so im not sure if it worked or not.

this cxmb plugin was designed for 5.00 m33 cfws, but it might work on cfwenabler 3.60/5.03 mhu as well.

you can download cxmb for 5.00 m33 here:
CXMB for 5.00 M33 Released, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks

after you download and unpack, copy/merge the contents on the "lite" folder to your psp. then add this line to your vsh.txt:
ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1

after that, you may need to enable it in the options that appear after you run cfwenabler 3.60 once it is already loaded.

you can then download themes for 5.00 m33, but make sure that they have the .ctf extension. trying to download flash0 themes will brick your psp.

themes go in the ms0:\PSP\THEME directory.

hey ultimakillz, i tried it, but its not allowing me to access the VSH in plugins that is accessed by CFWe 3.60. Is it that i need to place the CXMB.prx found in the CXMB folder into the SEPLUGINS folder?

no, everything should stay exactly the same as it is in the download. the "cxmb" folder (which contains the cxmb.prx) should be in the root.

did you add the line "ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1" to your vsh.txt file? that may be the problem.

again, im not sure this will work. but i dont see any reason why it shouldnt.

thanks for the encouragement, but where do i get that link, also yes i have added a line "ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1" in the vsh.txt and saved it. But when i load the CFWe 3.60 and go to plugins, all i am seeing seeing is [VSH] off, when i select it to on and come back out and select plugins again, it keeps staying off. What could be the problem there? Could it be that i'm using a TA-088 v3 motherboard?

the "lite" version is included in the link i gave you before. your motherboard wouldnt make a difference.

adding the 1 at the end of the line should enable the plugin, but for some reason the line in the readme file doesnt have a 1 at the end. try removing the 1 and see if that makes a difference.
