PSP update erased my friends CFW to go back to OFW. Please help!

A friend of mine has a psp that i hacked to 3.77 m33 and he didn't know any better, so he decided to play a game that required an update. Little did he know, he bricked the whole thing back to PSP's OFW and now can't play downloaded games. Now I'm asking for help on how to solve this problem. If there's a way that I can do this, any suggestions and help will be greatly appreciated. Thanx!

when you say "downloaded games" are you talking about homebrew games? his umds should still work fine, correct?

which PSP is he using???
if its CHA use MMS &Pandora.............

if he use a 1000 can use pandora.. but if he using a 3000... ofw update 5.50++
he can't play a downloaded games...
UMD still works 100%...
Or just wait 4 new CFW coming..

Are you all missing Ultima's question - WHAT type of downloaded games are we helping him run on the, currently unhacked PSP!
When thats answered there are plenty of us ready to dole out information Do you really think Ultimakillz or many others dont know how to solve the problem? The question is the source of the games!

He was running 3.77 m33 on his psp 1000. UMDs work fine but I figure the whole reason behind adding a cfw was to play shared games and yes I am a pirate lmfao. I also pay monthly for my service so not sure if that constitutes as a real pirate. But back to the real problem......I tried to use my pandora battery and battery switch on it but it had the reaction of a 3000. I'm just wondering if I'm going to have to get the new pandora battery to re-hack it or if there's the possibility of a downgrade to enable service mode like it used to before I installed cfw 3.77. And an FYI, the games are iso's or cso's that are being read from memory stick which worked fine until he updated with Sonys ofw

well you thought wrong and sharing games is illegal and against the forums rules which you agreed to when signing up!

well thats illegal too - whom so-ever conned you into thinking that if you paid someone to pirate games it would all turn out right in the end has duped you and is probably making a fortune off of it!

well FYI the fact that the games wont run on the ofw is due to the fact that even SONY dont want pirates playing their stolen games on psp's even if said pirates were stupid enough to "PAY" for them!
