hack psp 2006

I'd like to hack my friend psp 2006 with if im not mistaken, it was OFW 4.... i cant remember. He using pandora atm, how can hack it, should i use 5.50 gen d3 or 5.03gen-c?? which one is suitable for his psp? dont wanna make mistake coz i dont know which firmware for gen d3....

insert mms
hold left trigger and insert pandora

if service screen boots up it is hackable,update to 5.5 gen d2

if it doesnt its unacakble, use 5.03 gen c

Sounds like he has a fully hackable mobo but you will need to check that - follow steps 1 and 2 in the guide in my sig to install a HEN then use PSPIdent to establish the mobo (incl in the guide).

If its a TA088v3 then continue on to step 3 to install a partial CFW (5.03GEN-B is my suggestion)

If its a TA088v2 or lower then use Hellcats Recovery flasher to install a full custom firmware then upgrade it to 5.50GEN-D and then patch it to 5.50GEN-D2

it is hackable, he now with 4... m33 3 with his pandora, the question i wanna ask is should update to 5.03 gen-c or 5.50 gen d3?? if gen d3, HOW??

5.03GEN-C is partial custom firmware!

Upgrade to 5.00m33-6 then 5.50GEN-D then GEN-D2

For gen d3, do i still have to run chicken as well as 5.03?? and when installing, must be step bt step like 5.00 m33 6-5.50 gen d1-gen d2-gen d3, cant it jump to d3 with using d1 like gen c??

UPDATE TO 5.00M33-6 (WITH THE LINK) THEN 5.50GEN-D (LINK IN PREVIOUS POST) THEN 5.50GEN-D2 (LINK IN PREVIOUS POST) AND IF YOU WANT TO 5.50GEN-D3

At no point did i say ChickHEN or 5.03 or the like - try and follow!

just wanna ask you something..
i have psp 2006 with mobo ta 088v3 with cfwe 3.60 with chicken r2 and running the version 5.03 mhu.

can i just uninstall the cfwe 3.60 after hen loaded while pressing the R trigger. then simply install the 5.03 gen c full without installing first the 5.03 gen a and gen b?

to uninstall cfwe 3.60, you will need to download and run another version of cfwe (like 3.50 for example). when you run it, it will provide an uninstallation option. after that is done, reboot your psp, reload chickHEN/mhuspeed, & then install 5.03 gen-c fresh.
