Can this PSP version be modified to run custom
homebrew?

partial custom fw. you must run chickHEN R2 and not update past 5.03.

after that, you can run CFWEnabler 3.60

I succesfully installed OFW 5.03

But i try the chickhen, the psp just turns off when i select the TIFF
or if i do the instructions on the tutorial!

thats what chickHEN is supposed to do. just keep trying and see if it works. you should try restoring default settings and turning off umd cache and umd auto-start like it says in the tutorial. it will take a few tries to get it working.

i would say that if you try more than 20 times you need to try something else. there have been two mods make to make chickHEN load easier. before you try either one you need to remove all files associated with the previous chickHEN load (h.bin and tiffs). the mods will automatically reload these and the old ones cannot be present.

use Mod 2, sorry if i didnt help enough before.

btw, you do not select the tiff, on the 3000 you go into the ChickHEN folder and wait for pics to load, then scroll all the way up and down(thats what i did, actually scroll to the tiff)

did you remove the old chickHEN files before trying another mod?

did you make sure to put the h.bin in the root?

I did a dumb thing I upgraded and now I can't play my emulators anymore.

what are the specs of your psp? what did you upgrade to? you may able to downgrade
