Default PSP Go users, do you have this issue - Standby battery drain bug ??

Just asking if anyone else who has a PSP Go has this issue? I had my PSP on full charge and placed in on stand by after 5-10 minutes of some GT action, racing my 300zx But when I woke up 8 hours (aprox) later the PSP is dead!! Battery 0% - It must be a bug as my PSP-2000 can stay in standby for days..

Also I can't see the battery info. Sony removed it on the Go? Or is it just me??

Free file host with a difference!

Wow, and here we thought that the battery life wouldn't be comprimised.
Maybe the Go's standby is sucking up more power to keep it "semi-awake".

(No, I don't have a PSP go. lol)

im not sure this a universal GO problem. ive played some FF7 before going to bed, put it on standby then waking up 6 hours later to find the battery just how i left it...

also, yeah the battery info is missing on my system settings too. wonder why sony would do that.

It will drain your battery UNLESS you shut it down. I read the manual lol, a good thing to know hope it helps solve the issue.

Nice smart reply, however standby should last more than 7 hours on 3 bars of battery life don't you think?

I changed my battery settings. I went out for about 4 hours and it was the same as when I left it. Maybe its the game, or just a bug. I changed the batt settings straight away when I got mine.

yes it really should, all other psp's can last for days on stand by the go should take a little more power so it can detect when you slide but my go will stay on stand by for 2 days hell i hace even listen to music for 8+ hours on my go so long is the screen is off so i think it's a problem with your go

Really? 8 hours of music, I haven't tried that yet but I don't think it'll last.

I played GTA for 2 hours and it was dead, from a full bar of batt life.
