But isn't it supposed to be called 6.10 GEN-C? Because you can play 5.55+ games on it.

good idea but try following my tutorial first b4 posting problems. its the preparing the psp thats important and after formatting flash1, and enabling the vshmenu

no its called 5.50GEN because its based on the ofw 5.50, then it edits some files to make it a cfw, the fact that it has 6.10 features (game loading function) added doesnt make it a 6.10 cfw as it still installs 5.50 and edits it. (put simply - not technically true). also if it was made on top of the 6.10 ofw then the exploits used will have probs been patched and therefore cannot edit it in the same way. plus of course making it from a new ofw is harder than just adding to an existing cfw.

hey all i have a psp slim first of all...i had 5.50 gen a.and i went for the C but after it it remained only the battery,watch and date not entering my menu,only the screen and i formated flash 1 and reset settings.what do i have to do so my games would work again?thanx in advance

do not use GEN-C, i know i got it to work, but its very buggy, use 5.50GEN-D instead, follow the same steps (disable plugins format flash1 after install) and it should work just fine...
