    Hi guys,

I have just put cfw back on my psp 660PRO-B10 and its been a few years, only to find the old emulators don't work. Can any one point me in the direction of a list or pack of working emulators for this cfw?

    Thanks.

    PSP 2003 TA-088 Previous CFW 5.00 M33-6
    PSP 2003 TA-088 Current CFW 660PRO-B10

Thanks for the quick reply, but i was really looking for emulators not so much applications. The emulators i would like to get running are MAME, NeoGeo and Atari.
I have got Genesis, SNES, ZX Spectrum and NES running but seem to have problems with anything that requires bios files or file conversion e.g. CPS1 & 2

lol Thanks you gotta love firefox :)

I'm not sure about the links this is my first post on slim hacks, but I think it'll be ok as long as the links are relevent and not to ads or fake sites.

Right... Finally got neogeo emulator to work this was some how due to the bios? even though I had this running on a older firmware I found a different bios file that did the trick.

Heres how to set up NEO-GEO on a PSP slim

    Download List:
    1. NEO-GEO for PSP Slim
    2. NEO-GEO Bios

    Install instructions:

    1. Unzip "14987_mvspsp_2.3.1_for_slim" file.
    2. Connect PSP to PC and put it in USB mode and copy the mvspsp folder to E:\PSP\GAME
    3. Open file "E:\PSP\GAME\mvspsp" and inside create two folders one called "ROMS" and one called "Cache" as shown below:

    4. Copy the "neogeo.zip" BIOS file to the E:\PSP\GAME\mvspsp\ROMS folder DONOT! unzip it, as below.

Thats the emulator installed on the psp now lets convert the rom to play on in

    5. Open the romcnv folder and double click the romcnv_mvs.exe (This takes a while to load up) you will see a command box as show below

6.An OFD (Open File Dialog) box will pop up to browse for the required rom, as shown below

    7. If all goes well and the rom is OK! (sounds simple but there are a lot of corrupt or incomplete roms on the net) you will see this command box

    8. Inside the romcnv folder there will now be a new folder called cache

9.Copy the contents of the newly created cache folder to the cache folder you created on the PSP E:\PSP\GAME\mvspsp\cache the files will look like the ones in the image below
    [IMG]

    10. Copy the rom from your desktop/ PC to the roms folder E:\PSP\GAME\mvspsp\ROMS Leave zipped. As you can see all the roms are in this folder and also the bios file the bios file will not show in your game library on the PSP

    11. Disconnect PSP from PC and load up the NEO-GEO Emulator. The circle button is the accept button not the cross.

    Hope this helps :)

    Here's MAME Thankyou TTYman

    Download List:

    1. PSP MAME4ALL
First unizip the compressed file it will look like this:

    Select this file:

Copy it to your PSP in my case it's Drive "E:\PSP\GAME" your drive letter may be different, then open it up and it should look like this:

Next go back to the "PSP_MAME4ALL_v4.9r2_Hires_by_TTYman_-_1611200" file we just unzipped and open this folder:

There is only one file in this folder and it is an EBOOT shown below:

Copy this to "E:\PSP\GAME\psp_mame4all_v4.9r2" you will be prompted to copy and replace the existing EBOOT.... DO IT!

Check the games list and then copy your compatible roms to the roms folder as shown below *(Ignore the "-usermode" in the address bar just pretent its not there):

The common error with this emulator on the PSP slim is that it crashes when moving from the ROM library to the setup menu. The only way I have got this to work is to use the EBOOT that doesn't include the NEOGEO or CPS1 support, there are other emulators for these so its not a massive loss if you love the classics :)

    I have a PSP3000 and installed CFW 6.60 Pro-B10.

I then installed NJs mvspsp2.3.1 Neo Geo emulator together with ROMs and NeoGeo BIOs. The emu has been tested, I have been running this same set of files on a PSP-2000 with CFW 3.90 M33 for years.

However, on the PSP3000 and installed CFW 6.60 Pro-B10 it does not work!

The emu starts, but I immediately get ther error message "This program requires psp-2000 + FW 3.71 M33 or later" from within the emulator.

Guys, any help how to get NJs MVSPSP on PSP3000 and installed CFW 6.60 Pro-B10 would be very much appreciated!!! What am I doing wrong?

I bought this PSP-3000 for the sole purpose of emu'ing NeoGeo, CPS1&2 (and maybe MAME.) But apparently the emus which worked on my previous PSP-2000 with CFW 3.90 M33 don't work anymore?

Looking forward to play Garou Mark of the Wolves again…

Note: In "UMD ISO MODE" (accessible when pressing Select) I tried "M33 Driver" as well as "Inferno", though I don’t know if that's related at all.
