checked in the system setting its running on the PRO NIGHTLY
when i hold the power button for 4 sec and release it while holding the rt bumper button

you have lcfw which means at a shutdown you must restart the cfw and enable in the xmb again so this is not the way you can go to the recovery mode as on shutdown the cfw is wiped from the ram of the psp so what you have to do is enable pro again by using fastrecovery and then open vsh menu by pressing select and from there go to the option access recovery mode and press x walllah ur in recovery mode :p

well i would say the most stable is 6.39 pro b8 because b9 are betas and the nightly builds are open source made from people so they are not advised unless you go for some experimenting though i would say ur cfw is just fine for ur use

and if you want to download nightly builds here it is (not reccomended though)

put back the folders of 6.39pro b-9 oprn the updater and there would be an option of uninstalling the firmware press the button and when ur done remove the folders and download pro b-8 place its folders except for cipl flasher which u dont need and install it report here if it worked

@birarjan you are mistaken every firmware has a recovery menu but there are different ways of accessing them
