    From my guide!

    To access recovery/VSH menu's:

As to installing higher CFW - your PSP is unable to have anything other than 5.03MHU or 5.03GEN-x

I dont know whether GEN has this feature or not..but if you run MHU again ( with chickHEN & MHU already enabled ) then it brings you to the recovery menu.
    There you can re-enable it.

If GEN doesnt has this feature then I suggest you unnstall it & install MHU to re-enable it.

I'm sorry.... I didn't know..... most places where I post in threads do NOT want you to create a new thread when one already exists.... sorry ><

and I have a 3001 that was running gen-c full

I was trying to run a dump program that told me to turn off all plugins and stupid me disabled my VSH menu and I tried both of the above solutions and neither of them work. and after trying the 5.03 MHU fix, my PSP crashed and now it crashes whenever I try to flash CFW.....

    Ok.
Firstly UNinstall all CFW (FOR GEN -Run the 5.03GEN-C while holding the L trigger to access the emergency installer. FOR MHU - run any other version of CFWE other than the one installed for an uninstall option) and use the uninstall action
    Second reinstall ChickHEN/MHUSpeed3
Third try reinstalling 5.03GEN-C using the same emergency method
Now try accessing the VSH menu
If not try the L+R+[] tip
If not install Ultimate VHS menu (the readme is pretty straightforward)
Reboot, ChickHEN, Restart GEN-C and try again with L+R+[]

    Try fully rebooting
Restart while holding Triangle Square Select and Start (5sec)
    Reboot
    ChickHEN
    Run GEN-C
Try accessing VSH via Select if not the same L+R+[]

    Any joy
