The choice is yours . The CIPL_Flasher was made for fully hackable psp's like the 100X . If you don't run the CIPL_Flasher , after a reboot you will be back on OFW . Just run FastRecovery then to restart your CFW .
Thanks so much. I'm have done CIPL_Flasher and it worked. Millon Thanks to you. How big memorystick duo can I have in this psp-1004? 8, 16 or 32GB?
I think 32Gb is the biggest supported . With mine I use a photofast adapter http://www.dealextreme.com/p/photof...crosd-tf-to-ms-pro-duo-adapter-32gb-max-16489 and two 16GB microsd cards .
Im sure it was intended but The FastRecovery file restarts the Lcfw where the CIPL is not usable (PHA) but not used in your case...
Brothers, Need some help for my PSP 1000cw system software 5.50 Prome-4 i need to upgrade to ver. 6.60 but when i install system is ver. 9.90 no need to update. please help some of my games works slowly maybe need to upgrade my ver. i already format my memory stick but still..... please help
First since you are on 5.50 GEN D-3 you must do the GEN Bypass so that you may update 1. Press select to access VSH menu 2. Set USB DEVICE to "flash 0" 3. Connect to PC and search for the folder "etc" 4. Locate version.txt , open it , you'll see a number X.XX right beside the word release at the top 5. Change the number to 5.50 , save changes , exit USB mode 6. Set USB DEVICE to "Memory Stick" Now that that is done , update to 6.60 Official Firmware either by network update or manually Then download 6.60 PRO B-10fix1 from here http://psp.dashhacks.com/downloads/psp-custom-firmware-pro-b10 Extract PROUPDATE and CIPL_Flasher folders to PSP\GAME folder on memory stick From XMB run PROUPDATE then CIPL_Flasher Now you are on 6.60 PRO B-10fix1 , enjoy !!
Hi, I have a psp 3001 09g with permanent 6.20 Pro-B9. The sleep mode isn't working anywhere, when i flip the power quickly, it just shuts down. I downgraded from 6.60 ofw to a 6.20 ofw then to pro-b9. Did I miss a step?
You probably didn't miss a step , as the downgrade was obviously successful . But there are risks to downgrading , which is why people are advised not to do it. This could just be a side effect of downgrading . Some downgrades are fully successful and others aren't so lucky .
Thanks for the info. For others with the problem, I found a solution that worked with my setup. I don't know if I can post links but google "Sleep Fix 1.0" and you should find it. It's a plugin and for my issue it fixed it for sleep in xmb and homebrew Just remember to add an entry for it in the text files under /saplugins
