Welcome to yet another guide by me.. I will attempt to explain the purpose and function of the VSH
menu that you get when you press the almighty SELECT button on your PSP. Here goes.
What is VSH?
VSH is basically the XMB and associated menus in the PSP. When you are not in a game or application, you are at the VSH.

menu is there to allow for convenient changing of frequently accessed items that would otherwised be used in the recovery mode.

CPU CLOCK XMB
Here, you can set the CPU speed for browsing the menus. Recommended: Default.
CPU CLOCK GAME
Same as above but for games and homebrew. Recommended: 333mhz.
USB DEVICE
Choose what the USB connection to your computer will show. Eg. Flash1, Memstick. Recommended: Memory Stick (do not mess with the flash). Use the UMD option to rip your games.
UMD ISO MODE
Choose the driver for your ISO games. It does not matter if you use a driver for normal UMD games. Recommended: M33 driver.
ISO VIDEO MOUNT
For use with video ISO's.
RESET DEVICE
As the name says.
SHUTDOWN
No comment, really.
EXIT
Obvious.
