Default The M33 VSH menu explained

Welcome to yet another guide by me.. I will attempt to explain the purpose and function of the VSH menu that you get when you press the almighty SELECT button on your PSP. Here goes.

What is VSH?
VSH is basically the XMB and associated menus in the PSP. When you are not in a game or application, you are at the VSH.

The VSH menu
The VSH menu is there to allow for convenient changing of frequently accessed items that would otherwised be used in the recovery mode.

The menu explained
CPU CLOCK XMB
Here, you can set the CPU speed for browsing the menus. Recommended: Default.

CPU CLOCK GAME
Same as above but for games and homebrew. Recommended: 333mhz.

USB DEVICE
Choose what the USB connection to your computer will show. Eg. Flash1, Memstick. Recommended: Memory Stick (do not mess with the flash). Use the UMD option to rip your games.

UMD ISO MODE
Choose the driver for your ISO games. It does not matter if you use a driver for normal UMD games. Recommended: M33 driver.

ISO VIDEO MOUNT
For use with video ISO's.

RESET DEVICE
As the name says.

SHUTDOWN
No comment, really.

EXIT
Obvious.

Free file host with a difference!

I've edited the guide a bit. When you play a UMD, it does not matter.

Do you mean the CPU speed for the menu? Default or 333 will do. Anything too low will cause major lag.

You wouldn't ever need to.

XMB = Xross Media Bar. (Pronounced Cross).

Also, in case anyone is trying to run DVD isos from their memstick:

In order to run it, you need a UMD disk (ANY UMD DISK WORKS, I use a copy of Ratchet and Clank to run my DVDs) in the UMD drive. You will also need to make sure the UMDVD .iso is in the ISO/VIDEO folder.

Just an FYI
