If it freezes.. Do it all over again.. Here's a Tip: Remove the memory stick, turn on and off a couple of times, then insert the mem stick again and make an attempt in the pictures again

when backing up your psp umd game it will give you a iso format. you can convert if you wish to cso as they are compressed even smaller.
you can get iso and cso formats that are from torrent sites but that isnt condoned as is piracy

no you need to load chickHEN before you can run pspident. but you dont need to run pspident anyways. all psp-3000s have a ta-090v2 motherboard. that means you can only install partial custom firmwares, such as cfwenabler 3.60.

no pandora battery is needed. it wouldnt work on your psp-3000 anyway. if you already have firmware version 5.03, then this is what you need:

ChickHEN Homebrew Enabler R2 for Frimware 5.03 | HEN for PSP-3000, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks

Custom Firmware Enabler 3.60 Released / CFWEnabler 3.60 Released, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks

and this guide will help:
http://kefler.110mb.com/index.html

since you already have ofw 5.03, you can skip those steps.

hope this helps.

If you turn your device off and on and take out your memory stick, are there any remnants of what you did with CFW on your psp? Is anything left at all? When you "flash" at the end of your tutorial for CFWE, is it writing anything at all into non-volatile memory? If there is, can it be removed? Thanks. I basically want to know if everything is totally reverted to OFW or is there something left that needs to be uninstalled.

cfwenabler does write to the psp memory (its minimal), but it can be uninstalled completely. everything else is contained on the mem stick. after uninstallation, there should be no evidence that you ever had a cfw.

Thanks for the quick reply. If I want to use OFW for something, is it okay to leave that little piece of modified memory in there or should I uninstall it each time because it may mess something up? Also to uninstall you press R while launching? Is that correct?
