psx problems

wow its been a while since i asked for help here...

k, im trying to play medal of honor for psx on my psp 3000 w/ cfwenabler 3.60. i am using native 5.03 pops, and from what i saw on the psx compatability list, it should be working. i converted my .bin file into a .iso file, then used psxtopsp to make an eboot. put the folder with the eboot in psp/game but it just hangs at the startup. i have tried both m33 and sony drivers and same result. is there anything i forgot to do or is it a compatability problem? thanks in advance.

Why not convert it from bin to eboot right off the bat?

i tried that too and that didnt work for me either.
to tell you the truth, this is the first time ive bothered with psx games on psp.

i am having problems too, except mine starts and then says it cannot be opened. im not sure what to do either.

have you installed the popsloader? that way you can try a different pops... (by holding R at gameboot)

the compatability list is not perfect, says some of my games should have grabled grfx on 5.00 pops but there just the same as when i run them with 3.71 or what ever it told me to use.

also ive never had any trouble converting .bin to eboot.... do u have the lastest version?

im not using popsloader. i have cfw 5.00 m33-6 and was under the influence it could play psx games without popsloader.

I havent had to use pops in so long, so far none of my games needed it.

EDIT: i guess it was just the game. ill try popsloader to see if i could play it with that.

i tried popsloader, but im not sure if i am doing it right. i enabled it in the recovery menu, but no fw selection screen comes up when i hold r and start the game. im not sure what the problem is.

i used this for popsloader:

Ultimakilz. Im not sure how new you are in this, but have you had UMD ISO MODE changed to M33 driver. You need to do this on order to play your game. Maybe that could be why your PS1 games dont load.
