help does not respond to pandora - PSP Slim Hacks

hi.

i tried doing a mod on a friends psp 2001 on 5.03 which im guessing has the mobo that u can flash it with the mms and a pandora. i was able to run chickhen and cfw 3.60. Then in a tutorial it said it maybe possible to use hellcats to flash it to 5.00m33. It didnt work, am i doing something wrong or is it just not possible on this mobo. Thanks everyone for all of your help.

Just saying, "it did not work" isn't much help...
Please run PSPIdent so we know what mother board you have.

i have a feeling that if its not working, then you are using the version of hellcats that will not flash to mobos that would result in a brick. which means that your friends mobo isnt completely hackable. but you need to run pspident to make sure.

Yeah i kinda figured it was a pha. I have modded about 20 or so different psps. This just so happened to be the first 2001 that wasn't cha. I will now for sure run pspident every time before i do anything else!!! Appreciate the help man!!:d

pspident is always a good idea. its a good thing you were using the version of hellcats that wont flash to a pha psp. you could have ended up with a brick.

always check. you never know for sure what its got until you do.
