I have a psp 2001 from a daxter pack that i had to repair twice. the serial no. is hu3477937 i dont know the mother board. What i want to know is that can i hack it with a pandora battery and mms and install m33?

I just put 3.71-2 on my daxtar 2000 psp, so yes.

there is a program you can run after you have chickHEN loaded which will return the type of mobo you have. you can get it here:

except for Slims with a TA-088v3 Mobo.
they dont work on a 3000 as well.
just try to use the pandora if you have one, thats a way you can tell if you have a TA-088v3 Mobo or not.
if not, theres another way to get CFW, but temporary CFW.

k say i do have TA-088v3 mobo. what sort of other firmware can i put on?
All i want to do is run hacked psp themes, homebrew, and emulators. Is there something like that?
edit: i just read about chickhen r2. can that be used with ofw 5.51?

well, if you have a ta-088v3, then you can only install partial cfws, like cfwenabler 3.60. it will allow you to do all the things you mentioned, plus more, like play iso backups of psp and ps1 games. you have to have chickHEN loaded first, and chickHEN requires ofw 5.03.

CFWEnabler 3.60, but that needs ChickHEN R2 and that needs OFW 5.03 as Ultima said. Thats about as far as it goes for any PSP.

i just got the pandora battery from pandora battery buys and it doesnt work

this is what happens: i used the mms from rains magic memory stck creator. I turned off the psp and took out the mms and put it in again. i held down the L button and put in the pandora. the light comes on automatacly but the screen stays black. What does that mean?
