I need help

ive updated my old PSP Custom Firmware 3.80 M33-4

to 5.0 M33-6

but when i tried to play my old ISO/CSO files with this new firmware , its not working … especially my final fanstay dissidia and other old games which were working before with CFW 3.80 m33-4… screen just freezed at the while loading PSP SONY when i start the game… help pls

all my old ISOs arent working now

it just freezes at the PSP Portable white screen and wont load the game... crap... im screwed.. i should have never updated it to the higher version

This is strange, check that ISO driver is set to M33,
Try format the memory stick and then put the ISO on again in ISO folder,
Or try Re-Rip them again and put them on again
Maybe try format the flash and reset setting in recovery menu (holding R trigger on boot)

See how you go.

tried formatting and resetting the flash... tried formating the memory card too and rerip the isos back but still the same prob.. and my driver was already M33 as what you've said

you think i DLed the OFW instead of the CFW??
i DLed the CFW in the site here Custom Firmware 5.00 M33-6 Released, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks

and when i was updating it, it was asking me for the official FIrmware and i downloaded it via internet thru my psp cuz it automatically searched for it...

need to fix my psp

what OFW version did you download? It should be 5.00

Are all the games not working ?
OR someone's working, someone's not ??

This could also because you may not have installed 5.00 m33-6 correctly.
If nothing works then try reinstalling a new cfw through hellcat's recovery flasher.

when i view the preview of the ISO in my memory stick , it doesnt have a sound... what do you think is wrong here ?

all ISO/CSO games arent working which were workable with my previous CFW

Tried to reinstall the CFW with a new update but it still freezes... damn

u think something is wrong with my recovery settings?

my configuration are as follows:

Skip Sony Logo: Disabled
Hide Corrupt Icons: Disabled
Game Folder homebrew :1.50 kernell (can choose between 1.50 and 5.xx kernel only)
Autorun prograb at /PSP/GAME/BOOT/EBOOT.PBP : disabled
UMD Mode : currently M33 driver --NO UMD--
Fake Region: Disabled
Use VSH menu: Enabled
XMB USB device: memory stick
USE M33 network update: enabled
Speed up MS access: never

CPU speed

XMB: default
UMD/ISO: default

tried it and failed still

when i click on any ISOs installed for preview it doesnt have sound/music with it... Then when i start the ISO, it freezes on the white PSP screen title then suddenly restarts back the psp
