Default PSP-3000 screen has a broken LINE of pixels?

(Pasted from PSP-3000 section, since no one was helping me there. Or, am I in the wrong time zone?)

Yeah, I'm annoyed. My PSP's screen recently got this line of incorrect pixels across the middle of it. It's like, on white, there's this line of cyan/teal streaking across the screen, and it's red when the screen goes black.

Is there a program or something that can fix this? Or am I going to need to purchase and install a new screen on it?

Free file host with a difference!

No, you can't fix this with any program. I have seen numerous PSP's with this problem (even my sister's PSP has this problem). The only way you can fix this is by replacing your screen with a new one.

Okay, so I have to purchase a new screen? Looks like I'll be saving up then, thanks.

PSP LCD screens are around $45-$80 US dollars. Here's a cheap one that I found it's $45 bucks SONY PSP 3000 OEM Replacement LCD Screen Display.

Haha, I was just looking at that on a different site. Only, it was $95 dollars. Thanks for the find, I can definitely afford that.
