No offense to eyeyousee, but please disregard the info he posted. He means well, but he's not knowledgeable about this. Your serial number is not in the grey zone like he said. The chart he's looking at is for american
piano black models only. Silver ones have completely different serials.
You're absolutely right. Your serial number is indeed in the
hackable range of silver core versions.
Your PSP is either a silver core or a Daxter edition. If it's a Daxter, then it's completely hackable, no matter what the serial is. And if it's a silver core...well, I am holding in my hand right now, my
own silver core version with serial# HU343xxxx and it's completely hackable. Your serial is even lower than mine, so I'm sure it's hackable.
Not only that, but I can even tell you that (unless it's been refurbed) you have a TA-085v1 mobo, which is the only one that can
make pandora batteries.
(although it can only do that with cfw already installed)
Because it's been updated past 5.03, you'll have to use a pandora battery and magic memory stick to hack it. DealExtreme sells pandoras for only $6 and MMS can be made using a regular memory stick, using Rain's MMS maker. Detailed instructions can be found in the tutorial section.
