what psp do I have??? - PSP Slim Hacks

hello, my borther in law purchased a psp slim, clear blue casing, that was hacked. he updated to firmware 6.20 to use the psp online so the hack is gone I believe it was the chicken hack with the m33u something or another.

How can i tell what version psp it is and if it can be downgraded to firmware 5.03.... there no serial numbers on it anywhere.

Sorry that slim would have v3 mother board and would of hard ChickHEN R2 installed then 5.03 MHU since pandora battery can't be used on v3 motherboard.. your stuck.

Yeah, ditto what Shadowintel said. If it had chickHEN on it, that means it was a TA-088v3 (unhackable) motherboard. Unfortunately 088v3 mobos can't be downgraded, so you're out of luck, because ChickHEN is the only hack that'll work on that mobo and chickHEN can only run on 5.03.

Not that it matters anymore, but just so you know...m33 and MHU are actually the same. They just changed the name to MHU on the last update.
